Frequently Asked Questions Q What if I like the idea of getting into better shape and improving my wellness, but I’m not sure that I can do it? Q What happens after I call Wellness Works and make my first appointment? Our very first visit to your home is a one-hour 15 minute consultation. At that time we assess your current fitness level and lifestyle by asking you lots of questions such as what time you get up in the morning, what time you retire for the evening, what time of the day you have your meals, etc. We also check your blood pressure and conduct a body fat analysis. The goal is to get an accurate picture of your body today so that we can track positive changes over time. Q How long will it take for me to get into better shape? Q What if I’m in really terrible condition? Q What kind of equipment will I need to buy? Q How often will I need to exercise? Our rate for our personal trainers as of January 2005 is $130 per hour. Our trainers come to your home or office, and you are not charged for travel time. All of our trainers have extensive backgrounds in exercise, nutrition, and wellness. Think of this personal training as an investment in yourself – a gift that will last you a lifetime. To give you a frame of reference, let’s say you decide to work with a trainer twice a month for the next year. Your total cost would be $3000, roughly equivalent to a nice cruise or vacation. Q How many sessions should I sign up for? |
